Infographic: These mobile phone behaviors annoy co-workers

A full 87 percent of U.S. employees say that they are annoyed by their fellow workers mobile phone behaviors, according to a survey of more than 2,000 U.S. adults conducted by Harris Interactive on behalf of Jive Software.

Two-thirds of respondents cite loud private conversations by their colleagues as the most annoying behavior, while 59 percent say that co-workers not turning off or silencing their mobile phones is the most annoying behavior, and 52 percent say that co-workers' need to check their phones during in-person conversations is the most annoying behavior.

Women are more likely than men to be annoyed by loud conversations by co-workers in public areas of the workplace, the survey finds.
